Junior Frontend Engineer

PRGX provides a unique combination of audit, analytics and advisory services that optimizes client financial performance.   PURPOSE OF ROLE As a member of the Iberoamerica Audit Services team, the candidate´s primary focus will be to analyze, design, develop and deploy bespoke in-house applications, updates and enhancements to existing apps, integrations with 3rd party systems (e.g., payments, account validation, regulatory) as well as reporting and scripts developed and maintained by Specialists Team in support of the business. The advancement of the retail audit process on a client-by-client basis to include data sets, audit tools, claim types to improve the efficiency of process and optimize claim & revenue generation. - HYBRID POSITION -     JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist in the development and maintenance of front-end features for in-house applications • Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to peers • Contribute to team meetings and Scrum ceremonies, providing insights and suggestions for front-end tasks • Learn and adhere to company coding standards and best practices • Perform basic testing of the application components and fix minor bugs • Assist in the documentation of front-end code and participate in knowledge sharing sessions • Work under the guidance of senior team members to complete tasks and contribute to project milestones   SKILLS • English skills (C1) • Good ability to communicate and build long-term working relationships • Ability to view challenges from multiple perspectives and creativity • Good attention to detail and accuracy • Constantly striving to improve the process • Strong organizational and project management skills • Good problem-solving skills WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (desirable) • Languages: JavaScript ES6+ • Basic understanding of web development technologies such as HTML and CSS • Frameworks: React (hooks, context) • Testing: Jest, React Testing Library • Git and remote repositories knowledge
