Description: The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for planning and executing all phases of QA testing for assigned current and future products, feature releases, and live bugs. The QA Analyst works collaboratively with key internal stakeholders in Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Support to ensure that tasks are completed effectively and successfully while maintaining high attention to quality and accuracy standards.
Responsibilities:
Manages QA testing and planning for assigned feature set across multiple engineering teams.
Writes, delegates, and prioritizes test cases, improving clarity and alignment with available QA resources.
Monitors and maintains project management database (JIRA), thoroughly documenting testing results.
Coordinates with Tech Support to replicate and troubleshoot reported bugs.
Contributes to QA process improvements, reducing turnaround times and streamlining workflows.
Creates and updates internal technical support documentation, including troubleshooting guides.
Skills:
Strong to advanced QA skills: includes managing test cases, troubleshooting complex bugs, and delivering reliable, accurate, and timely testing results.
Strong to advanced analytical skills: capable of understanding QA data, identifying trends, and translating findings into actionable plans. Regularly prepares reports and documentation.
Well-developed communication skills: demonstrates effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Technical skills: Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate technical information effectively to diverse audiences. Proficient in JIRA, familiarity with accessibility standards, XML, CMS, and/or LMS. Experience with qTest is a plus.
Project management skills: Successfully manages multiple ongoing projects with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Prioritizes tasks and requests effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills: Independently identifies and implements effective solutions, proactively escalating complex issues. Demonstrates VHL core attributes for success.
Manual testing is the primary focus, with proficiency in automation testing and related tools being advantageous.
