What is the opportunity?
Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographic time zones. The country employs a global operating model to maximize efficiencies across time zones and supports a 24/7 operations.
As a Administrator, Tax Operations, you will be responsible to assist in the classification of clients, collection of core tax documentation and production and filing of global tax relief forms to ensure the timely, accurate and efficient relief of withholding taxes on global assets.
You will be supporting UK region. Working hours would be between 4:00pm and 1:00am.
What will you do?
Processing and verification all withholding tax reclaims, ensuring that all target production periods are met and acceptable levels of accuracy maintained.
Control and record the collection of all core tax documentation to enable full tax service offering.
Assist in the processing of all new accounts to ensure that all target production periods are met and acceptable levels of accuracy maintained.
Assist in the reconciliation process between sub-custodian, client reporting platforms and internal reclaim system records.
Support the identification of new technology and operational improvements to effectively ensure accuracy, reduce costs and increase service quality
What do you need to succeed?
As a guideline to ensure a reasonable time is spent in a role, you are expected to have at least 12 months of service in your current role for any lateral move
Experience in a Global custody or related financial institution.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products.
Previous relevant industry knowledge.
Relevant tertiary education.
Willingness to take on new challenges, confident and self-motivated.
