Associate Director - Quantitative Custom Research

The Position
We are looking for a passionate quantitative custom researcher at the Associate Director level who displays both strong analytical and leadership skills. Our clients are market leaders in fields such as media, entertainment and technology.
Your responsibilities will be end-to-end: writing compelling proposals, designing questionnaires, and analysis that is summarised in engaging reports/presentations and focuses on making the complex simple. You may be responsible for managing one or more junior staff.
Someone with experience at successfully growing client relationships is key, as the team has developed long-standing relationships with a number of blue chip clients through consistent delivery of insights and high quality research.
Whilst the projects will be challenging, they will also be engaging, and there is a strong culture of ensuring that the work is balanced with a close, fun and supportive team environment.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will have the following:
Be a creative, curious and driven custom researcher with 8+ years of solid experience gained in an agency environment (or client side) and relevant tertiary qualifications
Experience or an interest in working with media and technology clients.
Exposure to, and/or interest in, new and innovative research methods
Have expert client relationship skills, both in growing current clients and attracting new clients.
Solid analytical skills (including working experience with Q or SPSS) to convert findings into strategic business recommendations, and excellent presentation skills
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment and collaborative environment with a lot of variety and clients in a diverse range of industries.
