Job Title: Collections Specialist
Reports to: Collections Manager/LATAM
Location: Bogotá-Colombia (Flexible) or Sao Paulo-Brazil (Flexible)
#LI-Hybrid Responsible for doing financial processing work in the company such as contacting customers to follow up on open invoices to pursue payment, to interact with sales members and other areas in the process of clearing disputes, informing payments received, making reconciliations and preparing reports for accounts.
Activities in this job may include: Taking accurate records of financial activity.Processing and reconciling accounts and records.Checking bank statements for payments.Logging in to the Collection system to update activities.Following up on customers' accounts.Applying credit memos and payments to customer and/or supplier accounts.Collecting and maintaining customer accounts.Direct contact with Portuguese and Spanish speaking customers.Requirements: 4+ years of relevant professional experience in the area.Advanced English, Spanish and Portuguese, especially for conversation.Demonstrated good skills in Excel and Microsoft Office.Good personal skills to interact with people and negotiate.Good experience with collections.Experience working in a SaaS or Telecom Company.Previous work with direct contact with customers.Direct contact with an English speaking global team.If a Genesys employee referred you, please use the link they sent you to apply.
