The Role:

Reporting to the Vice President, Global Sales Development, the APJ and Greater China Sales Development Director will work alongside the Regional key leaders of Sales, Sales Operations, Business Development and Marketing, and will lead the APJ and Greater China Sales Development teams responsible for driving all aspects of Demand Generation.

You will have a proven track record of planning, executing, measuring and refining effective telephone-orientated and social selling demand generation programs that supports the pipeline coverage and growth objectives of APJ and Greater China Sales. You will be experienced in inspiring and leading internal sales teams whilst being responsible for achieving specific activities tied to pipeline coverage and sourced bookings performance targets.

You will have experience of teaming cross-functionally and at Market Unit level to support outbound lead generation initiatives whilst ensuring effective prioritisation of inbound and campaign response management. You will be experienced in monitoring and analysing the effectiveness of demand generation activities and how these translate into pipeline contribution, pipeline maturation and influenced bookings.

Responsibilities:

Foster a winning team environment to meet and exceed qualified customer meetings, new business qualified opportunities, pipeline maturation and sourced bookings quota.

Monitor and analyse performance against outlook plan and over past performance to make and implement recommendations for optimisation to maintain high-growth and competitive edge.

Ongoing communication with sales and marketing leaders regarding new and nurtured pipeline performance with planned course corrections.

Continually assess telephone-orientated, Digital and Social Selling lead generation campaigns and marketing program effectiveness to determine successful growth investment areas and message optimisation.

Effective prioritisation, monitoring and follow-up of inbound inquiry traffic from various mediums to increase pipeline coverage.

Jointly influence regional marketing campaigns and inquiry volumes you will need and localised marketing assets to optimise your teams performance.

Requirements:

Stability – a history of intelligent career decisions that resulted in successful tenures and overachievement.

Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and international cultures, both local and remote.

Proven track record of leading and motivating a highly effective internal sales team through hiring and retaining “A” players to consistently achieve pipeline contribution performance targets in a non-scripted approach.

A proven self-starter with a strong sense of what needs to be done and effective time management to meet tight deadlines in a high-growth, rapidly changing marketplace.

Natural ability to foster a positive, collaborative working environment that enables the team to effectively balance the need for strategic planning with efficient execution.

Strong focus on continuous improvement, using creatively and resourcefulness to optimise resources.

Analytical mindset, confident in drawing performance data from multiple tactics and sources, interpreting and forecasting trends and surfacing insights and actionable intelligence.

First class communication skills, written and verbal with the confidence of public speaking with strong English language capability.

High attention to detail with strong organisational and personal skills to successfully communicate with internal and external customers.

Experience of value-based software / SaaS / Cloud arena. Experience of HR solutions advantageous.

Self-driven, motivated and results orientated.

Strong preference for this role to be based in either Singapore or Australia.
