What you will be doing Under general direction of the Country Manager, manages the daily depot operations including staff and has budgetary responsibility for the depot; also handles complex problem´s resolution. This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires and is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements. Fulfills job responsibilities maintaining and assuring compliance with current ICH, GXP, FDA Good Clinical Practices, ISO guidelines or any other as required in the position training program. Monitors the overall performance of staff members to ensure compliance with guidelines above. Maintains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances and record keeping. Ensures regulatory compliance standards are adhered to and that regulatory information is transferred appropriately to local staff and the corporate compliance team. Be aware of the metrics related to depot operations and assure the business continuity taking part in the planning process and business development activities. Is responsible for the local business development by periodically analyzing metrics (operational, occupancy, financial, etc.) and become the initiator of new projects whenever required. With the assistance of the Country Manager, manages all associate relations functions for the staff such as hiring, terminating and performance management. Evaluate Personnel daily performance in order to analyze a career development for them. Assures that all Customer's concerns are duly assessed and follows-up the implementation of any preventive/corrective action. Responds to customer inquiries, requests and issues when situations demand escalation to a higher level of authority. Has deep knowledge about WC Depot infrastructure and equipment in order to facilitate the interaction with the local and global engineering and Technical QA team. Assists the Quality Assurance team in the internal audits performed by WC Quality Assurance Department providing all the requested information during the process and assuring the completion of all action plans. Required to be available on call 24/7 to provide telephone assistance in case of an emergency or urgent request. Ability to demonstrate people management experience in a supervisory role directly related to the role, including a minimum of one (1) year in a management role and preferably in the Clinical Trial business.
