The role is responsible for all aspects of projects in the Facilities arena including planning, building and infrastructure design, project design reviews, office accommodation design standards development, construction project & management.
Deliverables will include programme administration, coordination and management of projects, budgetary control, transition from project into BAU facilities management. Functions managed may also include external project managers engaged by you, specialised architectural, engineering, site, and construction services; sustainability elements; building code/standards interpretation; project scheduling and estimating.
You will manage various types of projects including new construction, fit-out of spaces, renovation of existing spaces and major re-work of existing building and infrastructure. You will coordinate the start-up of facilities and the relocation of occupants into the finished space and the sourcing of compliance certificates in line with statutory compliance while evaluating design professionals and contractors at the close of a project. All performed while aligned with organisation PMO guidelines, process and procedures.
