As a Financial Systems Administrator your primary function is to coordinate system updates within the Financial Business Unit, testing/coordinating new feature roll-outs, maintaining data integrity, and identifying new opportunities within the application to meet Roche?s growth and strategic goals.
Main responsibilities are:
Devise optimal systems support strategy and workflow to best serve internal and external customers.
Effectively and quickly resolve day-to-day system issues working with team members and 3rd party vendors.
Be single point of contact (SPOC) for essential business platforms and ticketing tools, such as BlackLine and ServiceNow.
Support implementation of new releases of the software, including impact analysis, regression testing, scheduling, and change management. Support change rollout to production, test, training and development environments.
Maintenance activities of multiple systems, maintaining a high level of global consistency, adherence to standards, and overall data quality.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues as reported by end users.
Perform basic data management, building reports, creating formatted data files, and researching data integrity issues.
Support implementation of new systems including data migration.
Planning and working flexibly to meet deadlines.
Keeping up to date with technical and industry developments.
Job requirements are:
Bachelor?s Degree in business, accounting, finance, or information systems, or equivalent, or at least 3 years in business experience with exposure of accounting, financial reporting, and/or audit experience required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience with systems administrator responsibilities for financial and/or accounting systems is required.
Prior experience using Service Now tool is preferred.
Some knowledge in Tableau is preferred.
