Find a job you'll love today!The Lead – Financial Analyst will handle a full set of accounts (AP, AR & GL) and yearly audit queries.
In addition, the position will be responsible for reviewing standalone entities' monthly reporting.Job Description:Assist CFO and Finance Director for Finance Operations of the GroupHandle full set of accounts (Independent Contributor) including month-end and year-end closing for investment holding companiesReview of multiple entity accounts and liaison with outsourced accountantsResponsible for reconciling and agreeing on intercompany balances within the group and its related companies and reporting on intercompany balances for Month-end and Year-end closingResponsible for facilitating payments through online banking transactionsResponsible for reviewing monthly reporting of related companies to ensure accuracyProvide insight on financial matters and assist in the implementation of financial policies and controls with compliance with accounting policies & proceduresResponsible for Year-end Statutory Audit.
Liaise with external auditors to close the audit on a timely basisLiaise with Tax Agents on annual tax computation & submissions, to ensure tax compliance and that all tax returns are submitted on a timely basisLiaise with Company Secretary on the preparation of resolutions, AGM & filing of Annual ReturnPreparation of group consolidationLiaise and collaborate with functional managers to monitor operating metrics, analyze financial and commercial performance, review sales throughput, assess investment opportunities, and define multi-year strategic directionWhere needed, support senior management and project managers on major initiatives and projectsPrepare analyses, presentations, and other materials for senior management's internal and external meetingsAny other ad-hoc projects as requiredQualifications:Candidate must possess a Degree in Accounting or equivalentAt least 4 years prior relevant experienceHands-on bookkeeping is preferred.
Candidates with strong audit backgrounds in Big 4 firms may also be considered.Strong in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerpointExperience in handling Statutory Audits for Group companiesGood spoken and written EnglishMeticulous and able to multi-task wellIf you've got the skills to succeed and the motivation to make it happen, we look forward to hearing from you.
