We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.
Recruit and hire new Systems Engineers into the territory
Responsible for training and mentoring new Systems Engineers on the team
HR responsibility for Systems Engineers in the territory (expenses, reviews, etc.)
Support field SE team in complex evaluations, troubleshooting and challenging customer environments
Take ownership in ensuring channel enablement is ongoing
Foster channel partner relationships with their technical teams
Act as a floating SE and fill in for existing team members if there is a resource conflict, or vacation coverage.
Provide an escalation point for pre-sales and post sales technical issues that arise in the territory.
Build and maintain relationships with key customers in the territory
3+ years’ experience in managing Presales Systems / Sales Engineers
5-7+ years’ experience in a customer facing technical role
Technical experience with virtualization technologies, data center consolidation, and/or server technologies is highly desirable
Hands-on, and “does what it takes” attitude to drive success
Team player with strong drive
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally with partners, customers, and internal cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Engineering
A structured thinker with strong presentation and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects, determine project urgency and execute detailed action plans
Highest level of personal and professional ethics and integrity
