Reporting to Strategic Insights Sr.
Manager, the new team member will build and deliver business insights information and analysis for all Latin America MedTech franchises, including Surgery, Orthopaedics, and Cardiovascular & Specialty Solutions (CSS).
The new hire will be a key contact point for different partners supporting senior franchise leaders, global Strategic Insights (SI) team, as well as supporting regional marketing, RGCM, and finance teams.
Among the main activities are: Market insights, customer insights, forecasting, reports, analysis, and governance of area key processes.
The new hire will represent both Regional and Franchise Business Insight teams, serving as a key partner to multiple teams.
The person must demonstrate a genuine interest in learning about the business and proactively recommend tools and techniques to support our teams.
The person will be responsible for shaping, leading, prioritizing, connecting, and driving our area key activities.
Activities:Run market estimates for all key countries in Latin America.Connect with local teams to understand MedTech performance vs. competition.Use secondary data to build and refine market and competition insights.Build market share performance reports for different audiences.Engage teams in continuously tracking performance and collaborating with market share scenarios.Proactively provide fact-based insights and analytics programs to address specific business needs.Develop and implement new insights frameworks and business analytics tools, techniques, and processes.Support franchise team ensuring brand strategy is appropriately implemented in the region.Ensure regional insights and forecasts are incorporated into Franchise plans.Create analysis based on data to tackle given problems.Influence decision-making with data and facts.Establish effective team member relationships, handle day-to-day questions, and develop appropriate courses of action.Diagnose and propose continuous improvement opportunities.Conduct conversations and presentations in English and Spanish.Contribute to the education, dissemination, and improvement of existing knowledge and processes regarding market and competition.Be the connector and leader of data integration from and to countries and global teams.Partner with teams to create and maintain outstanding analytical and marketplace assessment practices.QualificationsProblem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; captures and analyzes information strategically; develops alternative solutions.Ability to identify issues and solutions as well as anticipate consequences.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; plans for additional resources; sets goals and objectives; organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; develops realistic action plans.Displays perseverance and action orientation.Ability to understand the big picture while not forgetting the details.Proven experience in competitive intelligence, secondary market research, forecasting, strategic insights, market research, business analytics, finance, or a related field is required.Experience in the medical device, hospital specialty, or healthcare field is preferred.Languages: Fluent Spanish and English required; Portuguese preferred.Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, and PowerPoint, and analytical tools (Power BI, Tableau) is required.
