The Mid QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications, WordPress platforms, and digital solutions.
This role involves creating and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with developers, designers, and digital strategists to enhance the overall product quality.
The QA Engineer ensures that all digital experiences meet functional, performance, security, and accessibility standards. Responsibilities: Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web applications and WordPress-based platforms.Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Asana).Perform functional, usability, regression, and performance testing to ensure optimal user experience.Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve bugs in a timely manner.Validate API integrations, database interactions, and front-end functionalities.Ensure web applications comply with security, accessibility (WCAG), and SEO best practices.Work closely with UX/UI teams to test user flows and interface responsiveness.Contribute to test automation strategies, implementing scripts for continuous testing.Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.Stay updated on industry best practices, testing methodologies, and emerging technologies.
Requirements: 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and web testing.Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies.Experience testing WordPress sites, custom themes, and plugins.Understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools.Experience working with version control systems (Git).Knowledge of performance and security testing best practices.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.English proficiency: C1 (advanced).
