Description of Duties: Plans, develops and conducts program analyses of substantial scale and impact concerning all aspects of current or projected operating programs for actual or potential effectiveness and quality in achieving planned goals and objectives.
Analyzes extracts, summarizes, and identifies significant trends and issues related to the programs; provides recommendations as appropriate, and tracks issues through to resolution. Communicates information to management for effective assessments of program operations and milestones.
Evaluates the impact of data on program operations and management, including systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology. Ensures that reports are developed to provide needed data for usage by the management team as well as other key Administration specialists.
Coordinates community and outreach activities .
Maintains and/or monitors grantee performance. Reports all findings to the supervisor to develop the appropriate action plan.
Forecasts and estimates program requirements and prepares programmatic reports, justifications, charts, graphs, statistical and narrative data, etc., for top level presentations and briefings.
Establishes relationships with other government agencies as appropriate.
Analyzes current grant expenditures and evaluates each grant for efficiency, reasonableness, and compliance.
Assists in the development of grants and sub?grant contracts, and develops grant program evaluation plans, processes, and methodologies.
Maintains records of current grants and ensures all records are supported by appropriate documentation and that all departmental requirements for reporting are met.
