Temporary part time (4 days perweek) appointment for a period up to 31 December 2020

Location: Dubbo College, Senior Campus School

About therole

The role manages and maintains the public image of Dubbo College and itsschools. The Public Relations Manager liaises with regional media to promoteall aspects of the College. The role maintains the social media profile of theCollege, with regular written news stories and quality images.

About theDirectorate
SchoolOperations and Performance Division leads and directs the operations of morethan 2200 NSW public schools to maximise the academic achievements of allstudents and create a culture of success, learning and a desire to achieve,underpinned by innovative, adaptive and supportive strategies that alsosupports the quality of teaching and educational leadership at the schoollevel. The division is responsible for managing policy, strategies andoperations that support principals, teachers and students in preschools,infants, primary, secondary, central and community schools, specialist andcomprehensive schools, specific purpose schools, intensive English andenvironmental education centres. The overarching goal of School Operations andPerformance Division is to achieve the best possible outcomes for the studentsin our public schools from preschool to year 12.

ESSENTIALREQUIREMENTS

Working with Children Check

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Journalism, Marketing or Public Relations or equivalent experience

Extensive experience in photography

Current Drivers Licence
