Accountable for unit’s P&L
Specific KPIs: Brand Equity / Share / Volume / Gross Margin expansion
Accountable for Marketing spend effectiveness.
To deliver the purpose of the role, you will need to engage everyone behind the possibility, articulate the right portfolio and brand strategies and deliver short term results of our expansion brands portfolio to contribute to Diageo’s overall’s performance.
No direct reports to this position. Yet, you will need to lead the business functions that are responsible for delivering the plan (influence without authority is key): Commercial, CMO, global marketing, Supply and finance both internally and with Distributors/Partners teams
Defines 5 year Strategic Plan identifying strategic growth opportunities and translating them into a competitive Business Cases that drive growth
Drives the Marketing Business Plan’s Process based on deep penetrating insights about occasions, purchasing and consumption behaviours, establishes strong brand/category and business objectives and prioritizes different growth drivers effectively.
Responsible and accountable for executing in a timely manner, and with creative flair, through multi-channel media encompassing traditional, experiential and digital communications.
Accountable for all levers of value creation to ensure profitable brand growth for Diageo and our partners
Adapts global content and activations or creates local relevant ones when needed.
Supports Customer Marketing team to adapt or create BTL toolkits
• Leads the Business Performance Management Process including P&L tracking, Market share monitoring, Brand equity tracking and Category performance with a focus on Sell out. Proposes corrective actions or M4Ms, as needed. • Administers the overall A&P budget of the trade mark.
Ensures M&E is used to drive A&P effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Graduate of Business Administration, Marketing
Minimum 12 years’ experience in marketing.
FCMG experience mandatory.
Fluent in English and Spanish (oral & written)
