You are a Senior Portfolio Manager with large enterprise build and design experience

Utilise your deep PMO experience and consultancy background to lead with data driven insights, as you track the delivery of key strategic initiatives, and provide recommendations and necessary interventions to senior executives and decision forums on portfolio performance.
Your new team
The Enterprise PMO has been set up to provide a single view of delivery across the entire Group. This includes leveraging a stronger Group Delivery Framework, which provides a single method of prioritisation, sequencing and delivery of change project/programs and their outcomes.
The department works closely with key partners i.e. Group Strategy, the Business Unit PMO's, Finance, Risk and other Enterprise Services teams to efficiently and effectively manage the Project / Program Portfolio.
Your new role
Lead the prioritisation and ongoing management of the project portfolio to optimise the investment and deliver on the goals and plans for the business. Key deliverables include to:
Setup and manage key strategic forums across the Bank’s strategic priorities and ongoing management of the project portfolio and investment spend
Define and lead the annual prioritisation process for the project portfolio to deliver the outcome of a balanced portfolio and clear roadmap to meet the business goals & objectives
Facilitate the elicitation of information from other teams - Demand Management, Resource Management, BU Finance, BU Strategy, Group Strategy - to present a clear view of all lenses for decision making & monitoring of the portfolio
Conduct ongoing reviews of the project portfolio using multiple lenses; and provide recommendations on potential risks/issues and suggestions to further optimise the portfolio and produce (scheduled and ad hoc) leadership reporting for the effective monitoring & management of the project portfolio
Define and lead the Business Engagement process for new portfolio initiatives to ensure a seamless customer experience
Change management – support roll out of frameworks and tools for managing the Portfolio
What you will need to succeed
We expect you will have deep experience working in Project and Portfolio Management teams gained within a professional consultancy and/or large enterprise environments. You will be a PMO change and transformation specialist with set up and build and design experience. Your ability to challenge stakeholders and partners using strong insights; and creating pathways to successful outcomes for the Portfolio will help you succeed.
