Senior Ruby on Rails Full Stack - REMOTE

Our client Fintech Vancouver, Canada based company is looking for mid/senior Ruby on Rails developer. Job is 100% remote.

Responsibilities:
Building fully featured client facing applications
Working with UI/UX designers to create beautiful responsive UIs
Design, development and delivery of full features
Evolving an existing web app to a modern framework and standards
Creation of automated UI test suites.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience with modern frontend Javascript development
Experience working with RESTful APIs
Experience using Git and Github
Previous experience migrating applications from AngularJS to React is an asset
Ruby on Rails

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

AWS experience with environment setup, deployment and administration

Upper intermediate English level proficiency is required for this role (Level – B2).

Location and set up.
This job is a full-time permanent remote position, based on 40 work hours a week. Our client is open to working with candidates located anywhere in Latin America. Pacific Time Zone hours are preferred, but there is some flexibility. There is some potential for Canadian work visa or permanent residency sponsorship in the future.
