The Solution Architect works with strategic customers in the assigned verticals and develops a deep understanding of customer business problems and solution needs. He/she translates those problems and requirements into solution designs which address the broader vertical opportunity. The architect may also assist with the sales and implementation of initial implementations of the vertical solutions.
Must Have
1. 5+ years working experience in commercial roles and with technology solutions.
2. BS/BA degree in information systems, computer science, information technology or a related discipline.
3. Strong verbal and written skills; fluency in English.
4.
Experience with client management, sales, vendors, channel partners, final client, pre-sales, ROI.
5. Comfortable with systems environments, systems integration, and systems implementation teams.
6. Demonstrated ability to share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to executive staff, business sponsors, and technical resources in clear concise language that is the parlance of each group.
7. The steps required in the deployment of complex solutions from end to end.
8. Mobile Computing and Mobile Computer Operating Systems such as Windows Mobile, CE, Android, iOS (desirable).
9. Programming languages and SW environments for mobile computer such as C#, C++, Compact Framework, etc. (desirable).
10. Windows and Unix Operating and Database systems.
11. Wired and wireless Communication standards (LAN/WAN/MAN, etc.), protocols, networking data and voice.
12. Experience in using proven tools and design methodologies to analyze, document, and specify complex network (WAN, LAN, WLAN) solutions.
Nice to have
1. Excellent presentation skills required.
Must be highly skilled with drawing and diagramming tools (such as MS Visio or similar).
2. Has experience proactively identifying and responding to customer needs analysis.
