We have a DON opening with one of our nursing home in Cork .ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership to the staff and residents of the residential care center on a day-to-day basis.Make sure that nursing care provided is of the highest standard and supports best practice at all times and have a thorough understanding of the residents' clinical, medical, and social needs.Understand the skills and attributes of staff members.Regulations and standards relevant to the NH Residential care center must be followed.Ensure that all nursing staff are fully trained and competent to perform their duties.Requirements Should have live NMBI registration.Within the past six years, you should have had at least three years' experience nursing older adults.Experience at a senior level in a comparable organization of at least three years.Candidate should hold 3rd level qualification in management ( QQI Level 6 ) or the management of residential care unit.Ability to demonstrate the changes and committed for continuous improvement.#J-18808-Ljbffr
