The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi's financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to utilize in-depth disciplinary knowledge to generate and analyze reports as well as contribute to the development of new techniques to improve processes and work-flow.Responsibilities:Responsible for ensuring that all the firm's activities follow the necessary policies, rules and regulations, and that the firm complies with legal/regulatory boundaries and jurisdictions.Facilitates ownership for one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products, and may also be considered analytical or procedural experts representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.Address strategic issues on an ad hoc basis that are complementary to the regular planning and analysis processesExecute time critical activities for client facing Financial Planning and Analysis teamsContribute to the development of review material for internal leadership and external regulator reviewsHas the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:3-8 years of experience working with a variety of financial platformsProficient with Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of financial, analytical and reporting tools. Skills in computer languages, statistics preferredConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsExcellent relational and communication skillsFluent in English-SpanishEducation:Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceFinance, Economy, Mathematics preferredThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
