Job Overview As a Senior Procurement Specialist , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of procurement financial operations. Responsibilities include overseeing procurement activities, optimizing vendor contracts for cost-effectiveness, and maintaining robust relationships with vendors. Your contributions directly support our mission of providing exceptional mental healthcare services by ensuring smooth and effective financial operations. Precision in Practice: Employment Type: Indefinite term type contract Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST Work Arrangement: Onsite, Bogotá/Medellin Orchestrating Excellence: Your Key Performance Areas Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and ensure timely procurement of goods and services. Conduct financial analysis to evaluate vendor pricing, terms, and contracts to optimize cost-effectiveness. Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, invoices, and payments. Perform account reconciliations and promptly resolve discrepancies. Monitor and evaluate vendor performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings. Assist in budgeting and forecasting related to procurement activities. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Generate reports and provide data analysis to support decision-making and process improvement initiatives. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and financial management. Requirements Credentials of Champions: Charting Your Expertise Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a preference for advanced qualifications. A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement accounting or related financial management roles. Advanced proficiency in accounting software, financial analysis tools, and ERP systems. In-depth understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation. Strong capabilities in Microsoft Excel and data analysis for informed decision-making and reporting. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting financial data and optimizing processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for professional engagement with internal teams, clients, and vendors. Ability to work independently, manage priorities in a dynamic environment, and effectively lead cross-functional teams. Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
