The Settlement Coordinator is responsible for Understanding the United States Insurance process Work well with numbers, Negotiations/ reductions with Medical providers, Must be comfortable calling providers asking for reductions, Conduct zoom meetings with our team/ clients Settlement programming includes family programs, one-to-one ettlement service, group workshops, and specialized programming. The Settlement Coordinator participates in program development, tracking deliverables and outcomes, report writing, and data analysis as assigned by the Manager. This role also supports the Attorneys with systems and data management, and ensures services are responsive to emerging client needs.
Responsibilities:
Supports the development and implementation of client-centred services Keeps an updated library of community/government services and resources and ensures staff have access to information, to ensure services are current and responsive to emerging settlement patterns and changes in the policy environment.
Plans and monitors service planning to identify and create service responses to emerging trends and needs; and assists in the development and implementation of best practices. Maintains records, statistics, and all required reporting documentation, including tracking program expenditures.
Conducts narrative reporting and data reporting. Reviews, assesses, and makes recommendations to continually improve data quality to meet funder and agency requirements and identifies emerging client and service needs. Ensures all outcome and client satisfaction surveys are compiled and analyzed. Makes recommendations to the Manager for quality improvement.
Collaborates with staff across all service areas (Settlement, Intake, Employment, Settlement Workers in Schools & Language services) to ensure effective client flow, referrals and service excellence.
Directly supports clients and providers.

Skills and qualifications:
Advanced level of English
Experience on personal Injury law
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships among multiple stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to respond to a complex and changing work environment
Strong writing and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively write funder and program reports as required.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, ACCESS, Excel, Word, PPT), Teams, and Zoom
Able to identify barriers to services to promote equity and inclusion for a diverse client population
Experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
