Our client, a dynamic and expanding company in Colombia, is currently seeking an accomplished Chief Operating Officer (COO) to spearhead the ongoing operations and procedures within the organization. We are in search of a seasoned professional with robust leadership capabilities and a penchant for approaching business challenges with creativity. The chosen COO will be entrusted with leading a team of high-performing professionals to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall effectiveness.
The primary objective of this role is to ensure the seamless functionality of the business, fostering extensive and sustainable growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will play a pivotal role in crafting and implementing business strategies that align with both short- and long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct a comprehensive analysis of internal operations, identifying areas for process enhancement.
2. Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement business strategies and plans that align with organizational objectives.
3. Oversee operations, HR, and accounting functions, collaborating closely with the CEO in sales management to allocate sufficient investment capital for near-term growth targets.
4. Manage capital investments and expenses proactively to meet investor targets for growth and profitability.
5. Utilize tracking software to monitor performance, taking corrective measures as necessary, and providing detailed updates and forecasts.
6. Cultivate and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
7. Possess five or more years of experience in executive leadership roles.
8. Demonstrate excellent leadership skills, characterized by steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
9. Exhibit an understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues.
10. Have a solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.
11. Showcase the ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues.
