As the IT Service Manager (m-f-d) you will have the following responsibilities:
Manage external service providers (such as IT-Support) and suppliers.Manage and maintain networks and IT Infrastructure.Manage user accounts and access rights.Monitor system performance and availability.Document IT processes and systems.Adhere to compliance requirements and data protection regulations.Plan and oversee IT budget and negotiate with suppliers or contractors to ensure cost-effectiveness.Evaluate the IT needs of service users on an ongoing basis to ensure IT facilities fulfil needs and remain functional.Purchase and oversee the installation of new hardware and software.Schedule routine systems and networks upgrades.Schedule routine security backups and recovery strategies.Monitor adherence to software licensing laws.Maintain data security and implement security measure. Ensure users have access to suitable IT support and advice.Manage crises, such as data security breaches, to minimise harm and prevent recurrences.Give recommendations to upper management about IT in regard to organisational policies and businesses strategie.Prepare and implement of training courses.
