We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and strategic professional to assume the position of Medical Sales Liaison (MSL).You will be a key member of the startup teaminColombiaand represent a primarily field and customer focused role, enabling medically oriented interactions with internal and external stakeholders based on individual contacts,educational events and medical projects. You will be an expert on the disease areas under your responsibility and will ensure your knowledge is current and thorough. You willimplement the medical strategy locally and support the generation and communication of scientific information. You will act as the primary point of contact for a set of HCPs (incl.KOLs) and ensure good communication with sales and market access colleagues.
You will report to the Medical Director- Colombia. ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the Medical andother internal and external partnersto establish a medical footprint in the Country.Establish, develop, and manage collaborative relationships with key external medical experts and opinion leaders related to any current and future disease areas relevant forthe company and develops a deep understanding of their medical needsContribute to generate scientific data and communicate complex scientific data to all stakeholders related to current and future productsDrive disease awareness by providing medical disease educationSet up local scientific activities such as symposia, regional advisory boards, scientific meetings in alignment with product medical strategy and current compliance guidelinesCoordinate and pro-actively contribute to all pre-launch and life cycle management activities for current portfolio and potential products in pipeline in the country for current products and potential pipeline products in the country.Provide medical support and medical information on unsolicited HCP requests related to any product in accordance with relevant processes and local regulations.Facilitate patient access programs (EAP/RAEM) to address high unmet medical needs and in accordance with local regulationCollect competitive intelligence and market insights on diagnostic methods and treatment paradigms of relevant therapeutic areas.Contribute effectively to the development of strategies for the brand plans based on KOLs insights.Manage/support local aspects of investigator-initiated trials or other research projects in accordance with local regulations and Medison SOPsEnsure that all pharmacovigilance/risk management activities are developed and implemented in accordance with local regulation and Medison SOPsEnsure all medical activities are in compliance with Medison SOPs and local regulations .Communicate effectively with senior management and key internal stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and roadblocks enabling the organization to proactivelytake actions.RequirementsA strong bio-science education background in a health-related scientific field such as Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, etc. isrequired.Experienced MSL with at least 2 years(preferable)in pharmaceutical/biotechnology companies in a similarroleCandidates must have experience working in innovative companies and on innovativedrugs.Worked in Specialties, Rare Diseases or Oncology is a plusStrong scientific and medical affairsknowledgeExperience using data insights to decide next actions to enhance customerexperienceExperience working with different healthcarestakeholders.Experience in early access programs (RAEM) molecules (preferable)Good understanding of local healthcareenvironmentStrong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at alllevels.Excellent active listening and interpersonal skills and ability to successfully maintain professional and trusting relationships.Strong communication/influencing skills and ability to understand and effectively communicate scientific and medical information to both internal and externalcustomers.Patient centric.
