About the role The Paid Search Strategist is responsible for owning the execution, performance, and growth of Paid Search advertising campaigns within their book of business. You'll be responsible for owning reporting, optimizations, client communication, and execution of keyword research, ad copy development, bid optimizations, and routine campaign management, sometimes with the support of a Specialist. A Strategist is oriented toward the client's business success, tying their efforts to the greater business goals. Responsibilities: Manage paid search campaigns across clients of various business types, sizes, and industries, including daily optimizations and high-level strategy changesEmploy AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processesUtilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your departmentAnalyze performance data and provide intelligent analysis, interpretation and appropriate action plans based on data-driven conclusionsManage all client budgets and advise on budget changes, both between campaigns within a paid account and across channels based on overall return for your clientsHelp determine client benchmarking and implement optimizations to hit client KPIs in the quickest time possibleMaintain frequent and excellent communication both on internal agency teams and externally with assigned clientsKeep up your education on industry topicsClearly communicate with internal agency team about client goals, feedback and scheduled workflowImprove upon paid media processes and innovation of new strategies and techniquesVendor management for new channels and support channelsWork toward developing into a senior strategist or account managerRequirements: 2-3 years of digital marketing experience. 1-2 years in agency settingMinimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Search Engine Marketing: Specifically having experience with campaign development and optimization processes such as bid optimization, keyword research, ad copy development, and adjustment of paid search campaignsSignificant campaign management experience in one or more of the following additional campaign types: Performance Max, Standard, Shopping, YouTube Ads, Display Advertising, Local campaigns, Bing AdsProficiency in Google/Microsoft Office Suite(s)Proficiency in Google AnalyticsStrong understanding of full-funnel marketing and paid media's place in the funnelStrong Excel skills with clear understanding of advanced Excel featuresAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlinesDetail-oriented and organized with strong note taking acumenStrong enthusiasm, passion, creativity and commitment to paid media and client workEntrepreneurial spirit with passion for knowledge and personal growthKey Performance indicators (KPIs): $9.5k team-member EBITDAMaintain below 10% Client Churn Rate5-6 AccountsMost Important Things (MITs): Excellence in channel production and account performanceCross-channel collaborationInternal communication
