Systems Engineer

Responsibilities: Pre-sales - assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint (architecture approach). Sales calls - be the main technical resource on sales calls and answer/ educate the customer on issues ranging from features, specifications and functionality to integration. Conversant with networking applications and solutions. Post-sales - be the lead technical contact for identified accounts for technical issues and will work closely with the technical support team and engineering to answer, elevate and resolve customer's technical issues. Provide assistance to identified customers with post-sales training. This role has the challenge to interact on the day by day basis with senior MAMs in highly demanding environment and with the top of our customer (in size and complexity), named accounts. The following abilities are highly required: work under pressure, systemic thinking, innovation, time management, order and structured thinking.Required Skills: Excellent presentation skills Teamwork skills Excellent analytic skills Comfortable with procedures and compliance. Fluent in English and Spanish, Portuguese is a plus. 3 + years experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer 3 + years experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration Nice to have: 3 + years experience in technical enablement or training. Must prove skills to work with multiple groups and prioritize. Solid understanding of Networking and Telecomm: ie:DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP, SNMP, VoIP, Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Experience and knowledge in the following topics: Network Security, Intrusion Detection, SDWAN, Artificial Intelligence and Endpoint technologies. Understanding in the following technologies and protocols: RADIUS, PKI, IKE, CA Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, 802.1X, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES. Experience with encryption and authentication technologies required. Education: Bachelor´s Degree or equivalent experience. Graduate degree preferred. Desirable Certifications : CCIE, CISSP, ITIL, NSE1, NSE2, NSE4-7, Ethical hacking, Risk Analyst.
