Where applicable and when performing the responsibilities of the job, employees are accountable to maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and adhere to internal control policies and procedures 10%Key responsibilities and authorityVerify needs, authorizations and initiate the procurement process.Create purchase requisitions.Support of endpoint devices and software purchase contracts and communication with resellers and vendors.Obtain and review competitive bids, quotes, and proposals from vendors and contractors.Discuss evaluations and review with requesters and subject matter experts.Provide pricing quotes for items and preparing orders with suppliers.Establish and maintain vendor relationships per state procurement rules.Tracking contract renewal dates and initiating renewal processes.Coordinate with selected vendors on supply and delivery of purchased items.Identifying and managing computing contracts consolidation opportunities.Key requirementsExperience in a similar position for at least 2 years.
