We are seeking a motivated, analytical, self-starter to contribute to our continued legacy of financial strength.On a typical day you will:Manage payroll account reconciliation process; assign, review & approve analysts work.Reconcile monthly payroll general ledger & bank accounts & record manual journal entries for assigned accounts.Research and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.Prepare payroll tax funding and Garnishment wires.Prepare payroll entries (hourly, Salary & out of sequence)Manage unclaimed property reporting process according to company & regulatory guidelines.Process tax amendments invoices.Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process.Perform & document SOX walkthroughs & controls testing in accordance with Company's SOX framework.Conduct annual risk & Gap Assessments.What You Will Need to be Successful:Requires 3-4 years of experience in general accounting and account reconciliations functions.Minimum 3-4 experience with SOX controls testing/Auditing.Experience managing a team of 2-3 employees.Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skillsCertified Public Accountant, Business Administration or related career with strong knowledge in Accounting & ControlsStrong understanding of SOX & Auditing Concepts & PrinciplesFluent in English (C1). Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsSolves complex problems; takes a new perspective to identify solutionsSelf-motivated. Works independently; receives minimal guidance.Proficient in Microsoft Office.
