As a Senior Buyer you will play a pivotal role in the strategic sourcing and procurement process for LATAM region, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the procurement lifecycle, supplier management, and negotiation strategies. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sourcing * Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and stay informed about industry trends. * Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to secure high-quality goods and services at the best possible cost. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and align procurement strategies with organizational goals. * Ensure compliance to company guidelines and procurement policy during negotiation and award process. Supplier Management * Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers. * Evaluate supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives. * Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions to achieve favorable agreements while minimizing risk. Cost Management * Drive cost reduction initiatives through negotiations, process improvements, and value engineering. * Analyze total cost of ownership and implement strategies to optimize cost efficiency throughout the supply chain. * Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities. Cross-Functional Collaboration * Collaborate with various departments, including operations, finance, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment of procurement activities with overall business objectives. * Participate in cross-functional teams for new product launches, providing expertise on procurement-related matters. Apply now! * Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, with a proven track record of successful negotiations and cost savings.
