Join our team today and experience firsthand our dedication to supporting People First.The Data Science Manager for Wellness and Resiliency oversees data projects and manages a team of expert data analysts/ scientists in the space of content moderation and customer experience.Job ResponsibilitiesProactively engage with stakeholders and anticipate stakeholder needs.Contribute to the strategic planning in both data strategy and service/product strategy.Prioritize and conduct projects that vary in approach, scale, scope, timeframe and methodology across multiple work streams, making sure to work on the right project at the right time.Plan projects, define milestones, own roadmaps and E2E processes, assess risks, create actionable insights.Demonstrate excellent project management skills and ability to lead the team to meet deadlines.Drive cross-functional projects, coordinate across departments and geos, and work in a team to ensure business impact.Work closely with Wellness + Resiliency and Trust + Safety data, managing sensitive information with the highest standards of data protection and privacy.Collaborate with behavioral scientists to develop and conduct key research studies while following established human subject research guidelines and study protocols.Move smoothly and quickly, as needed, between big picture thinking and managing relevant details.Demonstrate learning agility, make decisions quickly and with the highest level of integrity.Scale and improve processes and infrastructure to ensure data processes are reproducible, efficient, and high-quality, such as establishing Standard Operating Procedures, reporting templates, dashboard best practices, and ethics guidelines.Innovate and problem solve proactively, knowing when to work independently and when to seek help from stakeholders and leadership.Supervise the employment of modeling techniques and variable creation, the creation and enhancement of data pipelines to ensure accuracy and efficiency.Review and safeguard the quality and integrity of data visualization, reports, and presentations.Develop understanding of complex distributed systems and sub-components, as well as broader industry challenges, to identify present and future risks and opportunities.Tell data-driven stories with good verbal and written communications, convince and influence leaders using clear insights and recommendations.Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and inspire employees and support the development of their personal growth opportunities.Minimum Job Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Science, Statistics, or a related field.5+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, machine learning or similar roles.Expertise in programming and scripting languages (C++, Java, Python, R, Scala, SAS, SQL).Demonstrable history of devising and overseeing data-centered projects.Demonstrated business acumen and basic familiarity with lean and agile methodologies, as well as business/product development cycles.Preferred QualificationsMaster's or PhD degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Science, Statistics, or a related field.2+ years of experience conducting cross-functional human subjects research, managing projects, and working in a fast-paced industry setting.1+ year of experience recruiting, onboarding, training, and mentoring junior researchersExperience working in a BPO or working with sensitive dataHow We Partner To Protect You: TaskUs will neither solicit money from you during your application process nor require any form of payment in order to proceed with your application.
