Financial Controller* - Latam

Position: Financial Controller - LATAM Location: Remote (CST Timezone) Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM CST Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead our team of bookkeepers and oversee the financial operations for our client companies. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of our financial processes. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Manage a team of 3-5 bookkeepers, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and development. Financial Oversight: Problem-solve journal entries, create and refine financial systems, and perform quality checks on all financial documents. Reporting and Compliance: Ensure all month-end closings are completed on time for 30+ companies, maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance. Customer Communication: Actively communicate with customers, ensuring they have access to accurate and timely financial data and receive an exceptional service experience. Required Skills and Experience: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and other accounting systems. Familiarity with Acumaticas financial aspects (training provided if necessary). Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational abilities to meet tight deadlines. Nice-to-Haves: Extensive experience in finance, ideally as a controller. Expertise in cash planning, managing close processes, and cash flow modeling.
