Purpose of the role:To be accountable for on time, in full delivery of in-market budgets, management accounts and financial accounts, including the co-ordination of the relationship with Enterprise Operations, finance business partners and finance centres of excellence. To ensure effective control environment and compliance to global accounting policies and drive continuous improvement in process, systems and data.Accountabilities: Deliver accurate and timely in-market statutory and management information (budgets, forecasts, actuals) and analysis of variances and financial modelling to accurately reflect the impact of proposed strategies on the operating results of the business. Provide pro-active, financial leadership to business management teams. Challenge, influence and support informed business decisions to drive business performance and ensure adherence to group accounting policies. Ensure the control environment remains sound, group accounting policies are adhered to and key business risks are managed. Create and maintain high quality and effective internal control area.Deliver successful internal & external audits. Assure compliances and stability of the internal processes. Ensure reporting complies with local legislation requirements. Ensure tax compliance and identify opportunities to improve tax effectiveness.Lead and provide focus for the Enterprise Operations finance teams to leverage global finance processes, standards, teams, systems and data. Analyse issues/risks and drive innovation and continuous process improvement. Keep Process Documentation actualized and accurate.About you: Strong Financial Control (Balance sheet, Cash and Working Capital, Group and Local Financial Reporting, Accounting principles) Exemplary Risk Management (Internal Controls, Managing Risk, Embedding Compliance & Ethics) Exceptional Value Creation (Business Performance Management, Support Decision Making) Refer to Finance Capability Framework Minimum of 12 years working and management experience in a multinational corporate environment.Degree educated with professional accountancy qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) Experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment from professional services audit background. A good understanding of functional areas, e.g. operations and marketing An ability to work effectively with all levels of staff within the company and external parties. Ability to handle large volumes of information and present it in an accurate and relevant format. Ability to work under pressure and keep to tight deadlines.
