Job TitleGerente BHR About AbbottAbbott is a global healthcare leader, creating breakthrough science to improve people's health.We're always looking towards the future, anticipating changes in medical science and technology.Working at Abbott At Abbott, you can do work that matters, grow, and learn, care for yourself and family, be your true self and live a full life.You will have access to:Career development with an international company where you can grow the career you dream of .A company recognized as a great place to work in dozens of countries around the world and named one of the most admired companies in the world by Fortune.A company that is recognized as one of the best big companies to work for as well as a best place to work for diversity, working mothers, female executives, and scientists.The BHR Manager designs country-level HR strategy to meet the needs of the business and ensures quality delivery of all HR functional services.The BHR Manager must align goals between local functions, local business needs, and corporate functional strategy.Responsible for HR results in the business, including client satisfaction, HR effectiveness and associated financial results.Responsible for compliance and applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.HR StrategyDevelop proposals and recommendations to resolve strategically important issues affecting the business.Prioritize critical projects based on business need and available resources.Delivery ManagementManage and leverage human and financial resources within scope of delivered project services while supporting the business.Secure organizational commitment to fund and implement said projects.Facilitate and implement change.Ensure the day to day activities are moving forward.Relationship ManagementManage delivery of HR services across the business.Ensure appropriate amount of resource planning is accounted for by the Practice and Service Centers to support the needs of the respective business.Responsible for managing business needs of multiple senior leadership teams.Know the businessSignificant depth of knowledge of critical success factors and challenges for the business and its role in the larger Abbott business models.Risk AssessmentMust be able to understand and utilize historical and broad organizational data when weighing business HR decisions and actions.Able to understand all the options available and the potential impact of those options across the respective business units, as well as within the larger Abbott business models.Have credibility with Sr. Management to maximize successful outcomes.InnovationMust be able to think creatively across a wide breadth of business divisions as well as deep into the respective organizationsIdentification of trends and new approaches to business processes should be both incremental as well as "ahead of the curve".Initiatives and changes to current business processes must have a clear linkage with other organizational efforts being proposed or already ongoing in the respective business.Minimum EducationBachelor's Degree MBA or Master's Degree preferred.Minimum Experience/Training RequiredMinimum of 8 years of experience in the Human Resources field in a management /leadership role.Broad knowledge in the areas of employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation & benefits and learning & development.Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting the business preferred.Project management or business experienceDemonstrated understanding of organizational development activity preferred.Significant breadth of understanding of functional HR roles and responsibilities and impact on the business.Computer literate: excel, word, powerpointFully bilingual: English and SpanishExcellent communication skills in all levels of the organization and in a matrix organization.Available to travel 10% of the time
