Description :Name of the position: Innovation Commercial ManagerLocation: Bogotá, ColombiaType of contract: PermanentAbout us: Diageo is the world's leading premium drinks company with an outstanding collection of brands, such as Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Baileys, Captain Morgan, Tanqueray and Guinness.With over 200 brands in 180 countries and a global network of ambitious individuals, our teams blend a diverse range of experience, knowledge and skills.We connect customers and consumers to our iconic products and build innovative experiences that bring people together to celebrate life.Profile: This role plays a major part in driving the Commercial Innovation agenda for Diageo Colombia.The person in this role will be a strong communicator who can work with multiple functions (Marketing, Customer marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply, customers) and work across all levels of the organization.The role requires both a high-level strategic lens and analytical work at a very detailed, tactical level, in an environment of frequent change.Top AccountabilitiesPlanning : Lead and gate keep all the commercial innovation deliverables that involves every projectBe a key input to build a robust value chain and P&L based on commercial route to market scenariosBuild the bottom up volume plans based on the project business caseBuild a robust commercial plan, KPI´s definition, and risk mitigation plan for every project.Build strong customer propositions that ensure a persuasive selling story where the client get totally engaged with the value creation proposal.Lead S&OP process to ensure the most accurate demand forecast and ensure the project team is aligned to key commercialization dates (sell in – sell out)Work closely with Marketing and customer marketing areas to plan the right consumer, channel & shopper plans to achieve the project goals.Commercialization: Lead the execution phase with both internal and external commercial teamsLead and influence cross-functional stakeholders (marketing, customer marketing, sales) to ensure front-end product launches are seamless and successful.Ensure the commercial plans are part of the company cycle planning.On time, with the right depth level of information, with the right resourcesEnsure all the plans are ready to implement from day 1.Selling presentations, customer proposition sheets, distribution tools & resources.Measure & evaluate the implementation phase based on the KPI´s definition bringing valuable learnings to the company that allows the team to correct of reinforce any of the plans to achieve the project goals.CommunicationBe the single source of truth to the sales team for all innovation projectsBe the link between marketing, customer marketing and sales teamBe the source of engagement with customers and sales forceTop Skills:Influencing Skills: Strong ability to influence at all levels holding the tension where needed.Communication: Must be able to effectively manage all information and communication ensuring that it is accurate, timely and communicated to all the relevant parties.Commercial acumen: Sound and practical understanding of the commercial environment bringing together commercial, customer and financial needs of the businessAnalytical Skills: Strong ability to access, analyze and draw key insights from various data sources to provide consultation and recommendationsOrganization: Is well organized and can balance multiple prioritiesResults-oriented: Drive issues quickly to conclusion, operating with pace, urgency and a strong sense of personal ownership.Qualifications:You will success in this role if you have at least 5 years of commercial experience in sales or field marketing role, if you have a strong communication skill, enabling and engaging others to imagine and create the future that unlock opportunities for growth.Customer / consumer Insights - ExperiencedDistributor & commercial Management – ExperiencedProject Management capabilitiesChange management capabilitiesP&L managementKey Outputs/Deliverables:1.)Manage projects from Gate 3 – Gate 5 from a commercial perspective2.)Maintain and enhance launch guidelines and processes and ensure adherence to guidelines across all stakeholders3.)Lead Division pipeline and forecasting processes to ensure timely roll-up of national launch volumes5.)Lead and Manage all Test Market activity6.)Work with and build relationships with brand and sales teams7.)Manage Innovation launch calendar8.)Participate and update sales team on project status during weekly calls, meetings, etc.9.)Provide exec team with project status updates as necessary10.)Troubleshoot launch issues with key stakeholders: Finance, supply, legal, distributors, etcWorker Type :RegularPrimary Location:Bogota - IMCAdditional Locations :Job Posting Start Date : 2024-05-19
