Position : Logistics Financial Controller Working Hours : M-F 9am-5pm EST Salary : 4,000USD to 5,000USD About the company: Our client is a leading freight forwarding company specializing in advanced technology supply chain solutions.Specific areas of freight forwarding, e.g., air, sea, land.We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.Our proprietary software Solution S.A.M.M.I.E.(Shipping Analytical Maritime Management for Import Export ) has proven to solve the transparency issues in international logistics and provides a profound differential.Summary of Position: We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to oversee and execute our financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.Consistently keeping information up to date in real-time.The Controller will be responsible for managing financial activities, implementing internal controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to the management team.Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliation of accounts and preparation of financial reports.Coordinate and lead the annual audit process with an external accountant.Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and drive business growth.Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and banking relationships.Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities with all vendors.Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and optimize financial performance.Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact financial operations.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.Experience with ERP systems and financial management software; proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.APPLY NOW!
