Responsibilities The Opportunity: This role owns and manage the Manufacturing Operational Support Agenda & Initiatives in 47 plants (12 countries) across Latam to achieve productivity improvements targeted on PSP involving savings related to: Maintenance & Reliability: Provide leadership and implement 'Maintenance and Reliability' (M&R) PSP agenda for its entire installed asset base in LATAM region, delivering superior asset utilization with efficient cost control across foods manufacturing plants installed.Deploy PepsiCo's Global and Sector best practices and other World Class maintenance excellence techniques and continuous improvement initiatives. Set in place PeMM agenda, vision and strategy in LATAM to assess field M&R maturity and providing executional support with the maintenance improvement action plan.Lead capabilities plans to build a solid maintenance and reliability organization for LATAM sector. This will enable LATAM run world class manufacturing facilities with the appropriate roles and structure in the maintenance area.Develop and roll out of Maintenance budgeting and cost control strategy to set accurate targets in AOP for each country. Follow up of Maintenance Costs YTD vs AOP target defined.Deploy plans through a robust 'Reliability' function, to move R&M spends from 'break-down' to 'preventive' to 'predictive', positively impacting asset reliability with optimum costs.Define and standardize preventive annual maintenance plan needed to guarantee planned work compliance, technical availability, safety and quality standards through RCM methodology (Reliability Centered in Maintenance)Inventory Management: Manage the Spare Parts Inventory strategy and approval process for LATAM sector following the two critical work streams: Add hoc stock addition and stock addition driven from new equipmen. This to ensure maximum efficiency and synergy in spare parts, whilst meeting operational and financial requirements.Deploy the associated Inventory Action Plan for the year and ensure that all of these actions are cascaded down into the Inventory Support team's objectives. The action plan must have clearly actions regarding Excess Active in stock, Slow Moving Parts and Obsolete spare parts in stock.Define with Finance Departments Policies required to optimized stocks plants level regarding Smart Spending 2.0 strategy defined for Maintenance: Capex Spares Limit / Budget Plant Spares Additions / Expense Consumables / Expense Freight / Standard Reserves / Expense vs Capital Threshold.Lead with BIS team SAP Remediation projects to have in the system the capabilities required to include consignment stocks, MRP module for accurate MIN / Max stock and aftermarket OEM conversion spare parts for maintenance. Your Impact: As Maintenance & Reliability Expert your responsibilities would consist of: Existent Equipment: Estimate times and frequencies for planned tasks executed during the year for continuous improvement. There should be a system in place to assurance this action coordinated by Planner and Reliability role in place.Use outputs from RCM / Criticality analysis and FMECA tools to develop preventive and predictive plans maintenance plans on new equipment. Enter all planned Maintenance tasks and work instructions into CMMS system.Guarantee the Condition Monitoring & Lubrication program routines in a correct format to upload to SAP/CMMS.Promote using CMMS systems to deliver future accurate analytical data, identify areas for improvements for the new assets – Top 10 (Frequency, cost & downtime)/ Pareto analysis/ Cost summary reports and effective data analysis to identify 'hot spot' areas.Follow key Maintenance KPIs to identify opportunities during start up stage for new equipment: Process Downtime, Technical Availability, Site CARV, PM Compliance, Preventative/ Total Maintenance Costs, Outsourced Maintenance Costs, MTBF and MTTR.Deploy criticality spreadsheet based on probability of failure and maintainability for the existing equipment. This should add feedback to the existing Maintenance preventive plans in place.Effectively capture Life Cycle Cost for main lines and assets to identified opportunities in maintenance reduction. Target: 3% of anual R&M spend.Promote a 'Less Is More' culture in preventative maintenance and drive low cost reliability improvements.Support sites leader to develop the 'Maintenance and Reliability' (M&R) strategy for the plant to drive the site maintenance plan & program to meet operational requirements.New Equipment: Guarantee a human oriented approach to equipment projects to trap latent problems and risks early using the expertise of the complete company team. Cooperate with engineering and manufacturing team to guarantee capacity delivered (Target: 85% TE) on new equipment. Consider Pepsico Safety requirements to operate the equipment with simple set up, quick adjustment and easy access to the different components (Maintainability) Collect equipment management lessons learned to guide decisions at each step of the EEM process.Do a systematic identification and analysis of areas of opportunity / hidden losses to reduce project risks and enhance project value. Virtually 95 percent of LCC (life-cycle cost) is determined at the design stage.Deploy with local team the construction, installation and commissioning phases of new projects related to new assets.Maximize Technical Availability on new equipment, promoting and introducing analytical problem solving techniques to maximize the overall asset effectiveness.Estimated life cycle cost (R&M) included in Capex estimate. R&M spend Deliver all drawings and equipment documentation for new equipment on site. 100% of these should be available as a soft copy and attached to the CMMS.Develop training plans and schedule them for maintenance and operations to successfully operate the new equipment following Pepsico Standards. Cooperate with engineering team to identify and eliminate as many potential losses at the design stage. Stable machine cycle time increasing mean time between failure (MTBF)Integrate the new equipment into existing lines. Deterioration is easily measured and corrected. Routine maintenance tasks are easy to perform and carried out by internal personnel. Short MTTR.Develop preventive and predictive maintenance routines for new equipment. Determines the maintenance requirement for the new asset within its operating context.THESE WORK-PROCESSES WILL DELIVER 4.0 MMUSD IN MAINTENANCE PRODUCTIVITY FOR 2023-2026 PSP HORIZONT AND 1.0 MMUSD IN TRUE EFFICIENCY PRODUCTIVITY FOR 2023-2026 PSP HORIZONT. Inventory Management: Develop site´s inventory strategy in LATAM region and the associated Inventory Action Plan for the year and then ensure that all of these actions are cascaded down into the Inventory Support team's objectives.Give clear direction and hold regular review meeting with the site´s stores teams to ensure all Inventory transactions are captured and completed.Lead the the consignment stock strategy to for sharing high value and low frequency spare parts inventory.Harmonize the Master Data for Spare parts to have the same nomenclature across the sector through IMA supplier. Follow up inventory management tool for LATAM: Planned maintenance vs random breakdowns, Critical vs. Non-critical based on resources, Cost and safety, Longer vs. shorter lead times, Usage frequency, Current vs. obsolete and duplicates. Define Opportunitties for AOP horizons.Roll up of KPI reporting for MRO and Stock inventory in LATAM region to do a strong follow up and detect opportunities in the system by detecting excess spares, slow moving segregated in 1-3 /3-5 / 5-7 / 7+ and obsolete spares. Set a clear action plan for each category. Develop a solid process in order to guarantee the right part when it is required in the correct quantity. Achieve 1.5% (spare value/CARV) in 5 years for each country.THESE WORK-PROCESSES WILL DELIVER 1.0 MMUSD IN MAINTENANCE PRODUCTIVITY FOR 2023-2026 PSP HORIZONT Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? Hard skills: Degree in Engineering: Industrial Engineering / Maintenance / Mechanical / Electrical / Materials / Chemical / TPM.Experience required: a proven track record in developing/implementing M&R strategies and tools in a manufacturing environment,understanding of self management teams and at least 3 to 5 years background in major and a strong understanding of Operations. In depth knowledge of process factors impacting TE for the lines in order to address main opportunities for the region.Ability to develop winning strategies/plans, Understand functional interfaces, Aligns team for action against key priorities.Deep awareness of modern Maintenance techniques and best practice implementation (TPM, Operator asset care, 5S, RCA, RCM, FMECA, Good use of SAP-Maintenance Module)Previous experience in condition monitoring, lubrication, CMMS and warehousing system utilization would be an advantage Fluent in English.Office PackageMust be willing to travel (Frequently 50% of time)Soft Skills: Developed personal leadership. This role will interact with several stakeholders / functions (Leadership it´s a must to success in the role)Developed Analytical Skills: Capable of perform complex technical cause-effect / Trade Off analysis to develop and deliver integral improvement plans.Training, coaching & Communication skills: Ability to explain complex technical issues/solutions to a non-technical audience.Outstanding interpersonal skills (mandatory) with ability to influence others.Results oriented & mission driven (Actively seeking for continuous improvement when delivering results in manufacturing area).Willingness to confront and challenge status Quo.
