This individual will play a critical role in leveraging Tableau Cloud technologies to transform data into actionable insights, ensuring our project's success with a go-live target in June 2024. The ideal candidate will be a master in Tableau Cloud, integrating various data sources, optimizing performance, and ensuring data security within a cloud environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to identify and analyze requirements for cloud-based dashboards, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Design and deploy interactive, user-friendly dashboards on Tableau Cloud, integrating data from multiple sources.Administer Tableau Server tasks, manage secure data integration, and ensure seamless data synchronization across cloud sources.Implement Tableau Cloud solutions in a multi-tenant environment, optimizing for performance and mobile responsiveness.Setup and manage Tableau data extract refresh schedules, row-level security, and data-driven alerts within Tableau Cloud.Utilize Tableau's web data connector, REST API, and other extensions to enhance dashboard functionalities and automation.Conduct performance tuning of Tableau extracts and queries, ensuring fast data retrieval and efficient processing.Guide the adoption of Tableau Cloud, including training sessions for users, and document the development process comprehensively.Required Skills & ExperienceAdvanced proficiency in designing, developing, and managing Tableau Cloud dashboards. Expertise in SQL, database management, data integration techniques, and ETL tools.Strong experience with Tableau Server administration and implementing Tableau in a multi-tenant environment.Ability to construct and optimize data pipelines, and perform database optimizations for improved dashboard performance.Knowledgeable in integrating Tableau with cloud-based systems like Redshift, PostgreSQL on AWS, and utilizing AWS services.Skilled in data modeling, implementing row-level security, and setting up Tableau data extract refresh schedules on Tableau Cloud.Experience with Tableau's REST API, web data connector, metadata management, and data- driven alert functionalities.Nice to Have SkillsFamiliarity with additional data visualization tools.
