Night Support Worker

Our Client is a leading Charity operating across Ireland supporting some of the most marginalized individuals, couples, and families experiencing Homelessness.Currently Hiring an experiencedNight Support Workerfor their Cork Operation.Full time 37 hours per week– we are open toflexible working arrangementsPermanent Contract. A work permit will be provided.Key Responsibilities- To collaborate with every service user to earn their respect and trust while handling challenging or troubling circumstances with tact.- Security and surveillance of the building and its surroundings during the night. staffing the lobby as needed- supervision of clients,giving special consideration to clients in need of intensive care and providing assistance as needed.- When required, work with the project team to help residents with personal finances, service charge payments, etc.- To assist and motivate clients in acquiring the skills necessary to manage their everyday lives.Requirements- Have a relevant degree in the social care sector OR at least one years experience working in homelessness or a closely connected topic, ideally in a residential environment.- Possess high educational standards.
