About the Position The Production Manager will oversee operations at our pilot production facility in Cohetando, Cauca, (near La Plata, Huila). Responsible for pilot production of extracts for the food and beverage industry, the Production Manager will play a pivotal role in process optimization, SOP development, and production scale-up. Summary of Activities Manage pilot production of natural flavoring ingredients. Coordinate third-party analysis of production batches. Assist in the procurement of equipment and chemicals. Drive process development and optimization. Develop and update SOPs to ensure operational efficiency. Supervise junior personnel and indigenous workers. Collaborate closely with the quality team to maintain product standards. Contribute to the successful scale-up of production operations. Education, skills and experience Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, preferably chemistry or related field, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a production environment. Experience in the food and beverage industry is highly desirable. Master's degree in a scientific discipline is highly desirable. Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with international team members. Location The position is based in Cohetando, Cauca, with preference for candidates residing in or willing to relocate to La Plata, Huila (closest city: Neiva).
