Position: Construction Project EngineerWorking Hours: M-F 9am-5pm PSTSalary: 1400USD to 1800USDType of contract: Independent contractor / independent professionalSummary of Position:We are seeking an individual who has experience working with US companies in the construction field - building multifamily communities or hotel construction, and managing RFI's and Submittals in the construction process. This position comes with a wide variety of responsibilities and high growth potential.Responsibilities Work with Project Managers toward the successful completion of the construction project(s). Document, write, and distribute Requests For Information (RFIs) Review, prepare, and distribute submittals Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent by coordinating job needs Attend owner/architect/contractor meetings and assist in recording, preparing, and distributing meeting minutes Assist in reviewing subcontractor change orders and preparing change orders for the owner Assist in monthly project schedule updates Assist in coordinating manpower and subcontractor issues/scheduling Assist in assembling project close-out documentation Assist in assembling documentation for project green requirements Assist with job site safety documentation and scheduling job site safety inspections Job site photo documentation Learn all aspects of project management/construction processes from preconstruction to close-out Assist in preparing monthly payment application documentation Assist in preparing bid comparison analysis and subcontracts Requirements Minimum 1-year experience in construction for US-based companies Experience working with RFI's and Submittals in the construction process. Background in Multifamily communities and Hotel construction. Bachelor's degree education Tech savvy enough to work remotely Strong English proficiency Tools: Procore (big plus), MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Project (preferred) Benefits Two weeks leave (vacation, personal, sick) for the first four years Discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance after the Financial Year End
