Commissioning Engineer

Responsible for commissioning and overseeing the installation of systems, plants and equipment for work properly and meet the client's needs.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESThese responsibilities include but are not limited to:Making improvements to, and offering advice about, operational proceduresScheduling and coordinating work to tight deadlinesEnsuring that equipment works to its specification (configuration, speeds, rates, flow)Creating and carrying out test proceduresInvestigating problems and diagnosing and repairing faultsTroubleshootingLiaising with installation/project engineersSupervising engineering and technical staffWriting reports and documentationProviding technical supportEnsuring safe working conditionsTraining maintenance and operative staff where appropriate.Requirements QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSYears of relevant experience: 4 yearsEducation: Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechatronics, or controls engineering.80% travel, implementing, testing, and debugging their design solution. Occasionally travel to the USA typical DC will have conveyors with approximately 100-250 controlling motorsApplicant must be a good communicator, be poised under pressure, and be able to work directly with end customersMust be familiar with PLC-type control and PC based flow-chart controlsKnowledge of HMI and machine control, with experience in Microsoft .NET, MS SQL Server, Beckhoff (TwinCAT) controls software, and OPCMust be familiar with and able to use AutoCadMust have good knowledge of PCs and Windows operating system#J-18808-Ljbffr
